Michael Braxton, a former partner at the law firm of Essen
& Essen et al., started his career as a Public Defender
in Tampa, Florida. He has defended thousands of people charged
with DUI as well as other serious felony cases. During his
career, he has tried over 100 criminal jury trials and countless
bench trials. His success in the courtroom has led to numerous
verdicts of not guilty in cases ranging from DUI to attempted
murder. In addition to his success in trial, he has had
numerous cases dismissed based on police misconduct, destruction
of evidence, illegal stops, and a number of other reasons.
He has handled and won countless driver's license hearings
in which people arrested for DUI had their licenses returned
to them. Mr. Braxton has lectured at several DUI seminars
and taught hundreds of attorneys throughout the State of
Florida on the art of winning a DUI case. He also has lectured
on the topic of "How to Properly Cross Examine a Witness."
He has written nationally published articles on such DUI
topics as "Excluding Breath, Blood, and Urine results"
and "Unlawful Police Stops." Mr. Braxton has handled
DUI cases throughout the State of Florida including Dade,
Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe, Seminole, Okaloosa, Manatee,
Sarasota, Lee, Sumter, Hillsborough, Polk, Orange, Union,
Santarosa, Brevard, Martin and Pinellas Counties. He received
his Law degree from Nova Law Center in 1993 and his B.S.
degree in Business Administration at the University of Connecticut
in 1990. He is now a partner at the law firm of Parks &
Braxton, P.A. and continues to focus on defending those
persons charged with DUI in Fort Lauderdale and elsewhere

Andrew Parks began
his career as a prosecutor for the Broward County State
Attorney's Office in Fort Lauderdale. After leaving the
State, he worked for, and eventually became the youngest
lawyer to become partner at the law firm of Essen &
Essen et al. As both a prosecutor and a defense attorney
Mr. Parks has served as lead counsel in thousands of DUI
cases. He has tried over 100 cases and argued countless
motions to dismiss. He has handled and won countless driver's
license hearings in which people arrested for DUI had their
licenses returned to them. As a result of his success as
a DUI lawyer, he has been invited to speak at seminars around
the State including "An Approach to Defending a Drunk
Driving Case"; "Dismantling the State's DUI Case";
and, "The Art of Winning a DUI Case With Motion Practice."
His arguments have been published on the front page of the
national DWI Journal on topics including how to beat the
breath test as well as how to use police misconduct to dismiss
a case. Mr. Parks has handled DUI cases in
Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, Monroe, Lee, Collier, Leon, St.
John's,
Glades, Hendry, Holmes, Lake, Seminole, St. Lucie,
Duval, Okaloosa,
Walton,
Bay, Levy and Sarasota Counties. He received his Law degree from Hofstra
University School of Law in New York in 1995. As a partner
at the law firm of Parks & Braxton, P.A. Andrew Parks
continues to dedicate his skills to the defense of those

Lawrence Meltzer

Lawrence Meltzer began his career as a
prosecutor for the State Attorney’s Office. While an Assistant State
Attorney, Mr. Meltzer was a senior trial attorney assigned to
thousands of DUI cases. Mr. Meltzer has over 100 DUI "not guilty"
verdicts at jury trial. He has defended over 1500 motions to
suppress or dismiss on topics ranging from "Unlawful Police Stops
and Seizures" to motions to exclude "Breath, Blood or Urine Tests".
Mr. Meltzer has been featured on NBC (The Today Show), ABC and Fox
News. As a DUI defense attorney, Lawrence Meltzer has handled and
won countless administrative driver’s license hearings throughout
the State of Florida in which people arrested for DUI have had their
licenses returned to them. He is a member of the Florida Bar since
2000 and received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University.
